The findings were presented by lead scientist Dr. Vimal Karani from University College London. They show that for every 10% increase in vitamin D levels, the risk of hypertension reduced by over 8%. These findings support many previous studies that have investigated the potential health benefits of vitamin D and it now has extensive scientific backing.
