| Q: | I have a 4 month old Parson Jack Russell who has dislodged his rear knee growth plate. Not sufficient to need immediate surgery but vet recommended keeping him inactive for 4 weeks. Keeping him in his cage and only letting him out for food and toileting. This is proving impossible as we also have an older Parsons, who he sees wandering about and he goes crazy. Is there any medication which will slow him down a little and make him less active as I would prefer that he heels naturally rather than have an operation at such a young age. |
