A very popular and widely used oil, with many benefits. This oil is floral and green, helping to relax and soothe, relieving nervous tension.

This rejuvenating oil has been used for many years providing an almost endless list of therapeutic uses. A highly versatile oil that soothes tired muscles, balances head tension and calms sensitive skin. An oil which is superior to many others and nearly always used by Aromatherapists.

Latin Name - Lavendula Vera

Fragrance - For a relaxing fragrance, drop 4 to 5 drops of the essential oil in a burner for approx. 20 minutes.

Massage - Blend 4 - 5 drops of an essential oil in 10ml of carrier oil, 2-3 drops for the elderly or children.

Bathing - Add 6 drops of an essential oil to the bath, or blend with a carrier oil for added moisture.

DO NOT SWALLOW. Never ingest, unless under the supervision of a qualified health care professional.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Dilution recommendations are based on adults. When using on children, you should dilute at least twice as much for children under 16 years and at least four times as much for small children. It is always recommended that you consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting therapy, particularly for children.

DO NOT USE IF PREGNANT OR LACTATING. The effects of essential oils during pregnancy and breast feeding are unknown and therefore such women should avoid use.

SKIN TEST BEFORE USE. We recommend that you dilute a small amount of the oil and apply to the skin on your inner arm. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs.

This is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest, of health supplements and aromatherapy oils in the UK. I think I have probs with delivery because I live in the Highlands and they are in guernsey but I've heard good reports from elsewhere. They are cheap and their customer service is only a phone call away

This is the best for getting to sleep. I often use it instead of my antipsychotics on my pillow because it calms me down and helps me sleep better. In fact I have a fear of going to bed from too many nightmares due to my disability and this makes it possible to go to bed without needing loads of reassurance. One of the cheapest if not cheapest in the UK. Also good for when one's glands are up and you have a blocked nose!
