Probiotic Max tablets

  • For healthy digestion
  • Over 1 billion ‘friendly’ bacteria
  • With Bacillus Coagulans and FOS

A healthy digestive system

The human digestive system is designed to naturally balance levels of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ bacteria to maintain good health. ‘Good’ bacteria assist in the breakdown of foods and the absorption of nutrients, whilst also defending against the damage caused by ‘bad’ bacteria. If the level of ‘bad’ bacteria becomes overwhelming, the whole body can suffer.

Supporting your ‘good’ bacteria

Probiotic Max contains the innovative ingredient LactoSpore®; a spore-forming ‘good’ bacterium called Bacillus Coagulans that supports the protective intestinal microflora naturally found in the gut. Probiotic Max also provides beneficial levels of Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) - a soluble dietary fibre that helps to promote good digestion. FOS feeds good bacteria in the digestive tract and stimulates their growth.

Why choose Probiotic Max?

Probiotic Max can be beneficial in topping up the level of good bacteria and promoting an efficient digestive system. Each high strength tablet provides 1 billion colony forming units (CFU’s) to promote healthy digestion, and is room-temperature stable so does not require refrigeration. This advanced combination is one of our best-selling digestive health supplements.

Q: Hi, I have IBS and get constipation as well as diarrhoea, at the moment I'm getting sore heads, sore limbs, sore abdomen after I eat and I'm not sleeping well either. Would this probiotic address all of these symptoms?

    Thanks

    Deborah
A: This product should be able to help with these symptoms, as it should help you maintain a healthy digestive system. Supplements can take a few weeks sometimes to integrate into your system properly, so you should be able to see the benefits within a few weeks. If this product does not work, you can always contact us on enquiries@simplysupplements.co.uk where one of our advisers can recommend an alternative product which you may find more suitable. Please be aware however, that we are not medically trained, therefore if you do have any specific concerns, we suggest that you contact your local pharmacist or GP prior to taking any supplements.

Q: I have bought these but unless I am missing it there is no recommended time of day to take these, many pro biotics are supposed to be taken on an empty stomach, or last thing at night.
    Thankyou
A: There is no recommended time to take the Probiotic Max, it is entirely up to the customer. However, many of our customers that take this supplement, find it better to take one in the morning and one in the evening, alongside food. It is a case of what works best for you.

Q: Hi - I have read a lot in the Mail regarding probiotic tablets and that they are good for the digestive system as well as blood pressure. Would it be ok to take probiotic tablets as I am on blood pressure tablets and also warfarin daily. Regards
A: Some herbal supplements may interact with prescribed drugs. We advice that you consult with a GP or pharmacist before combining herbs with drugs.

Q: Are these only suitable for adults or can children take them too? My boys 8 and 13 have a probiotic drink every day but these would be useful when on holidays etc.
A: This supplement is mainly for adults consumption. We advice checking with a GP or pharmacist before giving this to children under the age of 16. Some children have very sensitive stomach and may not respond well to certain ingredients even if they are from natural source.

    Q:

I'm looking to take a probiotic supplement to help me feel less sluggish, but I'm a little confused between your Probiotic Max and your Super Probio Complex. What are the main differences between these products and which would best suit my needs?

    A:

Our Probiotic Max contains one strain of 'friendly' bacteria (Acidophilus) and a prebiotic (FOS) to encourage the growth of 'friendly' bacteria in the digestive system. This product is popularly taken as a daily supplement to support general health, wellbeing and vitality.

Our Super  ProBio Complex contains nine different strains of 'friendly' bacteria and is one of the strongest probiotic supplements available in the UK. This product is often taken by customers with specific digestive problems or ailments.

Q: My mother is 85; has been taking VSL3 after 2 attacks of diverticulitis and one of cologenous colitis. She has alzheimer and the diarrohea was very debilitating for her. The VSL3 has done wonders in controlling her diarrohea. How long is it safe to take VSL3? Thank you
    A:

Unfortunately, as we are not medically trained, we could only advise that you consult your GP in regards to this.

Q: I suffer from sinusitus with bad headaches, blocked ears, pains in the head and headaches as well as very low mental and physical energy. Also find it hard to concentrate and poor short term memory. The doctor gives me anti biotics and steroids sometimes which make me feel well but a week later it is bck to square one and not able to do anything. Now wondering if I have candida (I do not get IBS or bad stomach or indigestion). If so will this help?
    A:

This product may be of benefit to you, as probiotics are widely considered to be a convenient way of topping up on ‘Good Bacteria’ whilst promoting the normal balance of bacteria for good health. Other products that we would suggest are things such as Ginkgo Biloba for circulation and memory, and Siberian Ginseng for low energy levels.

Antibiotics work by destroying harmful bacteria present in the digestive tract that is causing inflammation. However, in doing so, they also destroy all the 'friendly' bacteria that work to maintain healthy balance. Many experts agree that topping up on 'friendly' bacteria can help to improve general health, therefore we would certainly recommend this product to you.

Q: I suffer from a bloated abdomen (due to IBS) for the past 27 years - I have a flat abdomen at the start of the day on rising, which then bloats during the day to a size greater than when I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter!
I have had some relief with Acai capsules - can I take both of these products at the same time??
    A:

Yes, as long as you do not exceed the recommended dosage for either of these products, then there should be no harm in taking Probiotic Max and Acai Berry together. If you do have concerns, or are taking prescription medication alongside these, we would advise that you consult your GP.

    Q: Hi,
I seem to suffer from a lot of stomach wind, which results in a bloated stomach,( flat stomach when i first get up in the morning and then seems to get larger as the day goes on!) belching and noises in my throat. Also quite a bit of noise going on in my stomach! Would this product be of benefit for this, as i am fed up with my jeans feeling too tight!! I would be grateful for any help.
    Regards,
    Jenny.
    A:

Probiotic Max is a good supplement to use if you are experiencing irritable bowel syndrome, skin infections, bloating, gas or diarrhea. Probiotics are live microorganisms, bacteria in most cases - that are similar to beneficial microorganisms in your stomach. They are also referred to as friendly bacteria. Probiotic bacterial cultures assist your body's natural occuring gut flora to reestablish themselves.
