| Q: | I noticed recently in a national newspaper that Bromelain is recommended to help people who suffer from constipation. Looking at your website it mentions that is is used to promote weight gain - I would not want this to happen - is weight gain always a result of taking this supplement |
|---|---|
| A: | Bromelain is often taken to help with the healing of wounds and also to help aide the effects of sinusitis. It is also used by some as an aide for arthritis and aching joints. Weight gain is not a recognised side effect to taking Bromelain, however people do react differently to supplements and it is recommended that you consult your GP if you do have any concerns. |
