Q: Is it ok to take such a high strength milk thistle with 300mg st johns wort capsules and beroca vit tabs?
    A:

With regards to taking different supplements together, one on the many benefits of natural herbal medicines is the safety parameters when mixing several vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Nonetheless, whilst a majority of combinations are safe, we would advise that you consult your GP or Pharmacist with any specific instances, particularly in relation to a medical condition as the potency of herbs when mixing does differ.

Q: I am using milk thistle on my 3 dogs..I had a dog who died from cancer of the liver and I sought out a vet who studied alternative medicine. I was told by own vet(male) that if I used her he would not treat my dog. The utcome is that after the vets treatment she died within a few days. I believe that if I had used the alternative method she would have lived...Am I doing right by giving my dogs (3) milk thistle please?
    A:

We must inform you that at Simply Supplements we are not medically trained and therefore we respectfully advise that if you have specific concerns about the suitability of using any of our supplements for your pets, you should consult a Vet.
