Also known as Tocopherol, vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps to strengthen cell membranes against the oxidative damage caused by ‘free-radicals’, which are thought to be responsible for the progression of certain diseases and degenerative conditions. Unfortunately, avoiding free-radicals is impossible, so it is essential that we support our body’s natural defence systems as much as possible. Vitamin E is also taken to maintain healthy blood vessels and promote healthy skin and hair.
Vitamin E is one of the most widely-used supplements in the UK and is fast becoming a best-selling vitamin here at Simply Supplements. Each of our High Strength Vitamin E 400iu capsules is manufactured in the UK to strict EU quality standards that ensure the oil is readily absorbable. If you are looking for some extra immune support these premium-quality vitamin E capsules could be the perfect choice.

|Q:||Although others have already asked about the gelatine in this product, I was curious whether it was suitable for a halal/kosher diet?
|A:||Yes, the gelatin in this product is suitable for a Halal diet.|
|Q:||Could you please explain to me what 'Fat Soluble' actually means and if there is a particular way that Vitamin E should be taken so that the body can absorb it successfully?|
|A:||Fat soluble means that the vitamins will not be lost when the foods that contain them are cooked, and the body can store them in the liver and fat tissue when they are not being used. Fat soluble vitamins pose a greater risk for toxicity than water soluble vitamins, as they can be stored in the body, therefore you should never exceed the recommended dosage, unless told to do so by a healthcare professional. Because Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin, it is better to take it with a meal, as it will best absorb this way.|
