Glucosamine is a building block of glycosaminoglycans (GAG’s), which are major components of joint cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and the synovial fluid that surrounds joints. As a result, glucosamine plays an important role in the smooth functioning of the joints. Glucosamine is not found naturally in the diet so over the years dietary supplements have become popular with consumers looking to take advantage of the benefits glucosamine can offer.
Glucosamine 1500mg is the daily dosage used by researchers in successful clinical trials and our ‘one-a-day’ tablets have been designed for consumers who wish to achieve the optimum dosage without taking several tablets. Using the highest grade materials, these super-strength glucosamine tablets are manufactured using an advanced compression technique to ensure that taking each tablet is completely trouble-free.
At Simply Supplements all our glucosamine tablets provide an impressive 75% glucosamine, compared to 50% in many industry standard products. To ensure that each tablet is consistently of the highest quality, glucosamine is combined with low levels of potassium chloride (2KCl). This acts to stabilise the glucosamine and has been proven in clinical trials to be the most effective type of glucosamine in supplement form.

|Q:||I would like to know:
1. for this supplement it could simply be used by any person at any age?
2. For my parents who are over 70 years, do you think this product is suitable for them?
|A:||We do not have any age restrictions for this product; we would only recommend to not give our supplements to anyone under the age of 16. We must inform you that at Simply Supplements, we are not medically trained and therefore we respectfully advise that if you are taking any prescription medication or you have specific concerns about the suitability of any of our supplements, you should consult your GP or Pharmacist.|
|Q:||I currently am having difficulty getting going in the morning with aches and pains. I am a nurse so am aware that this has something to do with the job but would like to improve this problem. can you recommend which glucosamine to take. I already take a good calcium supplement.
\Kind Regards Cheryle.
|A:||As each person is different, it is always difficult to say which supplement will work best. Our two most popular Glucosamine products are S130 Glucosamine 1000mg, this is just a tablet of Glucosamine. Or, our S484 Glucosamine and Chondroitin (which also helps with joints), which is a combination of the two ingredients in a capsule form. You may also want too consider taking a supplement containing essential fatty acids, such as Omega 3 Fish Oil, or Cod Liver Oil, as these can help a lot with aches and pains in the joints. As it is coming up to Winter, where you are likely to intake less Vitamin D due to the lack of sunshine, we would recommend Cod Liver Oil for the Winter months, as this contains Vitamin D which will also help maintain your bone health.|

|Q:||Can you tell me what exactly what the 'advanced compression technique' is and how it works.|
|A:||Advanced Compression Technique refers to the compression of tablets during the manufacturing process. It is the method by which tablets are compressed directly from powder mixture of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients without wet or dry granulation required. Our experts believe that by using this technique we increase stability of the process for moisture sensitive ingredients thus preserving their purity and potency. This technique also offers size uniformity of tablets.|

|Q:||I'm querying for my parents both in their 60s. They are both taking Omega 3 and Lecithin to control cholesterol level.
Can they take the Glucosamine Sulphate supplement at the same time?
There should be no problem at all taking these three products together, as long as the daily recommended dosages are not exceeded.
|Q:||Could you tell me how large the each tablet is. I have a problem swallowing a large tablet. Though I am OK if it is capsule with smooth skin.
Each tablet is roughly 2cm by 1 cm. If you struggle to swallow these tablets, then you could try crushing them up and adding the powder to food.

|Q:||Is there any problem taking Glucosamine Sulphate 1500mg and 400mg Collagen Plus at the same time as I understand collagen contains glucosamine . Also could you please advise how many collagen tabs I should take a day as the bottle states 3 but the web page says 1 to 3 per day?|
There is no issues with combining the two tablets togethor. The collagen is actually a very good partner to our Glucosamine as Collagen helps aid tissue repair and glucosamine is used to help treat joint pains and conditions such as arthritis. We recommend 1-3 tablets a day depending on your personal preference.
