A Clinical Study on Glucosamine Sulfate versus Combination of Glucosamine Sulfate and NSAIDs in Mild to Moderate Knee Osteoarthritis


 

Ingredients:

Glucosamine Sulphate 500mg, Marine Chondroitin Sulphate 400mg 20% (providing 80mg of active Chondroitin), Magnesium Stearate, Maltodextrin, Gelatin, Titanium Dioxide.

 

Directions:

Take one to three capsules daily as a food supplement or as directed by a healthcare professional. Store in a cool dry place. Keep away from children at all times. Do not use if the seal is broken.

    Arthritis in my neck (Not realised at the time)

    I purchased Glucosamine and Chondroitin for my wife as she has arthritis in her thumbs and she suggested I take some for my neck. Within three days my neck felt better and now a month or so later I have so much more movement in my neck with no creaking and grating which I have had for years. I am thrilled with the result and cannot recommend these tablets highly enough.

    I no longer feel pain or have further swelling in my joints!

    I use this to protect  a weak area which could be subject to arthritis (knee cartilage removal) and signs of this complaint in my fingers. I do not feel any pain or further swelling of the joints since taking this.  I have purchased your products now for so many years I cannot remember how long and recommended your products and service to numerous friends and relatives.

    Your product considerably relieves the pain and is easy to swallow!

    The present format of the capsule makes it much easier to swallow than when they were in tablet form. I have found that taking three of these capsules a day has relieved the pain considerably from the osteoarthritis in my knees. For a short period of time I tried using a similar product from another large company and the pain returned, so I went back to the SimplySupplements product.

     I take Glucosamine with Chondrotin and have used many suppliers, but for some reason your product seems to have the correct balance for my Knee's. I have suffered with my Knee's for years and they are the best they have been since using your product. I also use MSM which complements the Glucosamine. The price is good and the delivery is excellent.

    I purchase Glucosamine & Chondroitin from you as the price is competitive.   I have been taking both for many years and am convinced that in my case I do benefit from them.   I have osteoarthritis in my hands and knees. At one stage, bending was quite painful but currently and at my age, things are far more comfortable. My hands, particularly the thumb area have been kept in check since I started with  G&C.

    I have been using your company for several years because of the price, much cheaper than the high street, i buy 4 different products each year and  my favourite product is glucosamine/chondroitin. i used to have stiff joints in my knees in the mornings, my doctor reccomended it and since i have been taking them i am free from stiffness thank you for a good service.

    Really good quality combination of Glucosamine & Chondroitin. I run 25 to 35 miles a week so have been taking these for some time along with cod liver to keep my joints healthy. With all the stresses and strains it does seem to help in recovery and healing. The price isn't expensive compared to most places. Very pleased with it.

    I must say that your Glucosamine and Chondroitin tablets work well. Over the last 12 months my left knee has been totally trouble free after suffering with it for over 20 years after a fall from a scaffold, I still get the ocassional aches but not as bad as they used to be and having these has improved it.

    Great product at a great price. To be free from pain is a blessing and it's because of these my pains no longer bother me. Getting up and down stairs was a nightmare and nearly had to install a stairlift because it was crippling at times. These are a blessing and anybody else that suffers should use these the are the best thing I have come across.

    I have noticed a great improvement in my joints, my hips have benefited the most from taking this. They were saw for months and I love gardening but couldn't get down to plant bulbs without being in agony. This is a remarkable product and has helped relieve my hip problem.     I do believe this is working, the improvement is gradual so you don't notice it immediately - my arthritic hip no longer aches as it did. The only remedy that has given me relief from agony, it's also at a lower price than others too which keeps the bank manager (my wife) happy - many thanks.

    I've been taking these supplements for approx 6 months now and I've really noticed the difference. I can actually stand up now without almost falling over and walking up and down stairs is a lot easier. Very good value for money and a delivery is very fast.     Improved my mobility

    My mother has taken these now for about two years. They have definitely made an improvement to her mobility. She couldn't carry a saucepan of water between the cooker and the sink prior to taking glucosamine and chondroitin. She also takes calcium and magnesium to help strengthen her bones and all of them together have helped her so much.

    By far the best price on the market. The next best price I have found is £22.95 for 200! Unbelievable value. Only criticism is that delivery took 6 days, when i expected them in 2 days.     I really can tell this is a good quality supplement. It works better than another company i bought from! I used to take exactly the same product from another mail order company and had slight pain reduction. Since taking simply supplements Glucosamine and chondroitin it has made a huge difference.

    Q: What is the difference between marine chondroitin and marine collagen? i'm trying to decide between your combined Glucosamine/chondroitin and glucosamine/collagen tablets. i want them for osteoarthritis/arthritis.

    Q: S131 Glucosamine & chondroitin - I ordered this product back in October, but it seems to have changed now. Can you advise is it still a capsule or is it now a tablet? Don't want tablets, so don't want to order if it's reverted to tablet form.

    I am not a vegetarian but am allergic to crustacean such as crabs and shurimps, and shellfish.

    Can you recommend me which glucosamin and condroitin tablets I should take?

    Unfortunately, all of our Glucosamine combinations are derived from various fish and shellfish. The only product that we could recommend would be Vegetarian Glucosamine 750mg (S367) which is derived from maize.

    Q: Hi You mentioned that the tablet contains marine chondroitin rather than Bovine.

    Does this mean that it only has fish extracts and not cattle?

    I dont eat meat but eat all marine foods.

    The Glucosamine/Chondroitin combination itself contains fish and shellfish. However, this particular supplement is contained in a gelatin capsule, which is derived from bovine sources, such as beef.

    Q: how big are these tablets as i have difficulty swallowing 1000mg tablets and have gor 500mg tablets but without chondroitin

     They are a large tablet, however if you are having difficulty swallowing them you can break them up and take them with something else, i.e. a glass of water or a yoghurt.
