Zinc supplements are popularly taken to support the immune system and to defend against colds and flu; when taken at the first sign of symptoms they have been shown to reduce their severity and duration. Zinc also plays a vital role in cell regeneration and collagen production, and so helps to accelerate wound healing and promote healthy hair, skin and nails. As a result, zinc tablets are often taken to treat common skin conditions. This popular mineral also contributes to normal brain function, healthy vision, and male and female fertility and reproduction.
Experts estimate that one out of three adults in the UK does not consume the recommended intake of zinc on a daily basis, and our high strength zinc tablets are the perfect choice for people with weak immune systems prone to catching colds and flu. This supplement is Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) approved for total quality assurance and contains premium-quality Zinc Citrate, which is the most bioavailable form.
